Space Domain Awareness Principal Systems Engineer

Contract Position

We have a 28 year history of continued service with the Aerospace and Defense Industry highlighted through the care for each of our employees and our clients missions. This position is supporting the next generation in developing mission critical systems. Their mission is creating the most effective and state of the art technologies for Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance supporting the Army, Navy, Air Force, Special Forces, and other Federal Government agencies working with our military. Responsibilities:

• Participate in requirements analysis and management, functional analysis, performance analysis, system design, trade studies, systems integration and test (verification) in the development and evaluation of networks and information systems.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Systems Egnineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematis field combiend with 10 + years of relevant work experience; or Master's Degree combined with 8 + years of relevant work experience. 
• Ability to Obtain Top Secret Clearance 
• Agile experience preferred.
• Substantial use, understanding and tailoring of systems engineering concepts, principles and theories
• Substantial proficiency with requirements management & system modeling tools
• Ability to recognize various architectural patterns, apply them appropriately, understand strengths/weaknesses within those architectures and develop architectural variations as necessary
• Active contributor to the achievement of business objectives
• Creative thinking with the ability to multi-task
• Contributes to the development of innovative principles and ideas
• Effectively leads complex assignments; interacts with both customers and end-user
• DevSecOps experience with some of the following platform/tools:
  • AWS
  • GitLab
  • Kubernetes
  • Docker
  • Jenkins
  • Ansible
  • Terraform
• CI/CD pipeline development
• Test automation
• Missile Warning/Missile Tracking system integration, test, operations experience
• Familiar with Agile philosophies and processes
