    Join the B-52 Systems Engineering Advanced Programs team to execute Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) projects for the Bombers Radar Modernization Program. As an experienced Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for leading other systems engineers within the team to support program execution. The role encompasses all elements of Systems Engineering including requirements management, functional analysis and allocation, integration and test, and validation and verification.

    Responsibilities

    • Facilitates program milestone delivery within time and budget via technical planning and program monitoring (e.g. develops engineering plans, manages metrics and baselines, technical input to risks and opportunities).
    • Integrates Systems Engineering activities with specialist disciplines
    • Interacts with customers and stakeholders
    • Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify complex lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
    • Evaluates customer/operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
    • Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
    • Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.
    • Develops, maintains and identifies improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes.
    • Resolves cross-functional technical issues.

    Qualifications

    • Required – Active Secret Clearance
    • Required – Advanced skills in developing requirements
    • Breadth of experience in the field and in team leadership

     

    *U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

     

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience.
    • Degree from an ABET accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
