    We are currently searching for the right talent to fill this opportunity:


    Equipment & Tool Engineer 3

     (U.S. Citizenship Required*)

    Everett, WA



    • Ensure factory equipment functions to meet production system requirements and verify rate equipment technical requirements are satisfied through procurement and commissioning.
    • Evaluate program and project requirements, develop moderately complex equipment concepts, and design solutions for Production System.
    • Ensure compliance with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements.
    • Validate contractual performance milestones, maintain configuration control, conduct project and in-depth technical reviews, prepare plans for production readiness, preventative maintenance, and spares.
    • Conduct equipment training for Production and Maintenance personnel.
    • Develop and implement moderately complex work-arounds, maintain configuration of hardware, software and documentation.
    • Support in-production equipment and troubleshoot issues working with equipment services to perform root cause corrective action, resulting in preventative measures to minimize downtime.


    • At least 5 years of experience working with manufacturing or equipment systems.
    • Automation experience and strong problem-solving background, troubleshooting complex production equipment, as well as an ability to support procurement of rate equipment projects.
    • Excellent aptitude to understand technical details and their effect on the overall system.
    • Familiarity with PLC programming, Siemens and/or FANUC, CNC logic and/or experience programming equipment machine controls.

    *U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.


    Education and Experience

    • Degree and typical experience in engineering classification: Bachelor's and 5 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 3 or more years' experience or PhD degree with experience.
    • Degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
