    Advanced Manufacturing Operator 2

     (US Citizenship Required*)

    Plano, TX



    Join our team as a Wiring Assembly Technician. You will run large quantities of wire to support our Power Distribution Units (PDUs). We are looking for someone with extensive experience in wiring panels.


    • Read and interpret moderately complex schematics and drawings; interpret engineering drawings and mechanically assemble various hardware
    • Use various wiring hand tools
    • Follow more advanced methods, techniques, and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, cable harnessing on panels
    • Perform moderately complex electrical wiring, and advanced fabrication
    • Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, prototype assemblies and sub-assemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions
    • Complete appropriate quality paperwork as required (Corrective Action Request, Discrepant Material Report etc.)
    • Accurately complete process paperwork and enter data into applicable work order management system
    • Support continuous improvement activities and participate in problem solving activities
    • Maintain a clean and orderly work area
    • Receive little instruction on daily work; general instructions only on new assignments


    • Extensive experience in wiring panels
    • Must be able to interpret more advanced documents, work instruction, and schematics
    • Solid manufacturing process skills
    • Solid knowledge of polarity, inspection criteria, and Bills of Material (BOM)
    • Can use the manufacturing work order application accurately and unsupervised
    • Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Demonstrated time management skills, and solid computer skills
    • Ability to lift a minimum of 15 pounds

    *US Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.


    Education and Experience:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
