    Join our Technical Communication team of professional communicators to support airplane product life cycle by developing technical media deliverables for our aviation experts who design, manufacture, assemble, obtain certification, deliver, and service our products worldwide. As Technical Communications Specialists, you will serve as advisor in your field, providing access to and understanding of standards, templates, formats, and other requirements.


    • Write, edit, and proofread technical content
    • Gather input and reconcile conflicting comments
    • Verify consistency and clarity of communication
    • Adhere to company guidelines for classified content
    • Ensure compliance with company standards for editing, communication, and branding


    • Technical Communication skills, especially the creation of technical documentation in the aerospace, manufacturing, engineering, scientific, medical, pharmaceutical, software industry.
    • Proficient in MS Office and Adobe products: SharePoint, Word, Visio, RoboHelp, Dreamweaver, Acrobat Pro, etc.
    • Knowledge and experience following editing & publication standards, and style guides
    • Committed to protecting sensitive & proprietary information
    • Skills/experience with work instructions, and business processes & procedures
    • Experience meeting project block points and deadlines


    • Technical writing degree or certificate
    • Familiarity with Content for Reuse methodologies and applications: SmartDocs, WebWorks ePublisher, DITA, etc.
    • Experience with process documentation
    • Experience working with global team members

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree and typically 3 or more years' related work experience, a Master's degree and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Degrees in Technical Communications, English, and/or Journalism
