    Stock/Receiving Associate

     (US Citizenship Required*)

    Taunton, MA

    Responsibilities

    • Perform physical and administrative tasks involved in receiving, storing and distributing materials, parts, supplies, and equipment
    • Perform a single or limited number of core tasks of a routine nature
    • Unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintain records of received goods and reject unsatisfactory items
    • Process receipts including counting and verifying parts against packing lists and data entry into the system
    • Package and prepare materials for delivery to the designated program and manufacturing locations
    • Perform Cycle counts and inventory verification of parts based on information provided
    • Examine, stock, and distribute materials in inventory warehouse or distribution center
    • Lift heavy items and may operate a forklift
    • Issue parts from the stockroom based on paperwork provided
    • Determine methods or places for storage considering guidelines for temperature, humidity, weight or height limits, turnover, floor loading capacity, and required space.
    • Communicate with coworkers and internal customers
    • Receive detailed instructions on assignments
    • Perform limited data entry
    • Work under close supervision involving detailed instructions and constant checking on work performance

    Qualifications

    • Able to acquire job skills and learn company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks
    • Work on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment/decision-making
    • Able to obtain necessary certifications as required by specific job requirements
    • General organizational, computer, and team participation skills
    • General communications skills, both verbal and written
    • General customer service skills including obtaining or providing information requiring little explanation or interpretation
    • Able to develop basic knowledge of the enterprise software tools (MRP, Receiving)
    • Receive detailed instructions on all work
    • General awareness of continuous improvement initiative
    • Able to lift 25-50 lbs repetitively on a daily basis
    • Forklift/Man-aboard and powered pallet jack certification a plus
    • Must wear steel toe shoes in compliance with ASTM F2413-05 Standards

    *US Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

     

    Education and Experience:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent is required

     

    Conditions of Employment:
