    Marketing & Sales Rep 4

    • Develop and assemble documentation of data to support management reviews.
    • Participate in reviews with direction.
    • Assist lead negotiator throughout business negotiation process to help secure customer and vendor commitments. Obtain commitment and approval from internal stakeholders to support changes during the negotiation process.
    • Utilize detailed understanding of both customer and company needs and resources to recommend areas of alignment and integration.
    • Lead assigned sales and campaign activities by contributing to the development of strategies and tactics with minimal guidance.
    • Maintain and report metrics related to campaign status.
    • Leverage company resources to support customer commitments, gain a competitive advantage, and foster business growth by developing a detailed understanding of specific products and services, process and operations, and resources.
    • Support integration of knowledge into business strategies and solutions.
    • Research, review and analyze information about competitors' products and services to develop a detailed understanding of specific competitor activities and their impact on market positioning to improve our competitive position.
    • Capture and document specific campaign information related to customer business needs, culture, requirements, and economic and environmental influences by researching available resources, web-sites and publications.
    • Network with both internal and external resources, when applicable.
    • Assist interfacing with customer and internal resources to keep both apprised of key issues and concerns.
    • Participate in customer meetings with limited scope and responsibility.
    • Assist developing customer solutions by analyzing customer needs and available resources.
    • Evaluate alternatives and makes recommendations to the internal team leader and management.
    • Formulate requirements for both company and Industry products and knowledge into recommendations to meet customer needs.
    • Assist preparing management review materials.
    • Assist maintaining and advancing customer relationships by supporting customer meetings and preparing presentation materials.
    • Analyze business alternatives to recognize customer needs in relation to the strategic direction of internal programs.
    • Support preparation of proposals by developing themes and discriminators and reviewing the statement of work, cost estimates, executive summary and pricing to ensure customer requirements are met and to improve our competitive position.
    • Monitor proposal status to ensure timely responses.
    • Review and contribute to the final draft materials.
    • Assist developing strategy and tactics using in-depth knowledge of customer needs, company products and services and competitive environment.
    • Gather and analyze relevant information (e.g., political environment and competitive assessment) from internal and external sources to support strategy development and alignment across the enterprise.
    • Domestic Travel: 10%


    • Required – Able to obtain Secret clearance
    • Capture Team Lead experience in the radio communications and satellite business area. Familiar with; Sources Sought (SS), Request for Information (RFI), Request for Proposals (RFP), Contracts, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Task Orders/Delivery Orders, Drafts and fast turnarounds.
    • Knowledge of and experience in, military radio systems and satellite interface, as pertains to secure networks.
    • Able to write technical volumes in support of a government RFP’s
    • Able to interpret government writing and create responses
    • Experienced with Army terms and acronyms
    • Army Acquisition experience preferred.
    • Able to organize, plan and schedule work.
    • Agile, flexible and fluid in dealing with company and external personnel.
    • WIN-T (Army Tactical Network) Army experience is preferred.
    • Tactical Communications Experience specifically on Army systems – preferred
    • Ground station and satellite communications experience with Satcom and KA band radios – preferred
    • Proposal writing and new business strategy development – preferred
    • Gov’t acquisition experience as well as program management experience – preferred

    *U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.


    Education and Experience

    • Technical bachelor’s degree and typically 9 or more years’ related work experience or a Master’s degree with typically 7 or more years’ or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.
