    Production Operator 1

     (US Citizenship Required*)

    Responsibilities

    • Perform project tasks/assignments of moderately complex nature ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables
    • Perform fabrication or inspection functions in a research, production or pre-production environment
    • Read and interpret moderately complex schematics and drawings
    • Follow more advanced methods, techniques, and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, & cable harnessing on subassemblies and units
    • Build or integrate hardware for prototypes, subassemblies or systems
    • Perform moderately complex electrical tests, more complex rework and refurbishment of hardware and systems, and more advanced fabrication and marking
    • Incorporate Master Change Order (MCO), Engineering Change Order (ECO), Variance Authorization (VA) and use of visual aids
    • May conduct manufacturing inspections on processing line in accordance to quality specifications
    • May be involved in packing, movement and protection of finished product
    • May disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, and test experimental or prototype assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions
    • Maintain and operate various equipment/tooling
    • Perform more advanced loading and configuring of customer/standard software on customer device

    Qualifications

    • Required – Able to obtain Secret clearance; active Secret clearance is preferred.
    • Able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds unassisted
    • Considerable manufacturing process skills
    • Considerable knowledge of polarity, inspection criteria, and Bills of Material (BOM)
    • Demonstrated ability to accurately use of manufacturing work order application unsupervised
    • Able to use various computer software applications to analyze and manage data
    • Able to interpret more advanced documents, work instruction, and schematics
    • Considerable knowledge of configuration control procedures applicable to the assigned work/area
    • Able to exhibit adaptability/flexibility

    *US Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

     

    Education and Experience:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

     

    Conditions of Employment:
