    Manufacturing Engineer 2

    (U.S. Citizenship Required*)

    Responsibilities

    • Assist in the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies.
    • Participate on the Integrated Product Team (IPT) in the integration of technical solutions.
    • Work with others to develop, identify and implement conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build.
    • Assist in implementing manufacturing plans.
    • Resolve technical problems and assist in the implementation of new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts.
    • Assist in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies.
    • Interface with professional associations, suppliers, IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience.

    Qualifications

    • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
    • Experience with Bill of Material, manufacturing processes, assembly and integration work instruction.
    • Proficiency with Product Data Manager (PDM), Online Work Instructions (OWI), and Nonconformance Management (NCM).
    • Experience using 3D Computer Aided Design Tools and CATIA V5 preferred.

    *U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

     

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree and typically 2 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with experience in an engineering classification.
    • Degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
