    Instructor Pilot 4

    (U.S. Citizenship Required*)

    Responsibilities

    • CH-47F Instructor Pilot that develops and conducts familiarization, qualification, standardization, flight and ground instruction.
    • Performs mission-specific training for domestic and international aircrew.
    • Develops aircrew instruction philosophy, evaluation criteria and approach for standardizing training materials.
    • Establishes qualifications, training standards, and validation plans.
    • Travel 25% of the time including domestic and international; may include UK and India

    Qualifications

    • Required – active Secret clearance
    • Required – FAA ATP or Commercial certificate with the appropriate endorsements, and FAA Instructor certificate or military instructor certification, as applicable.
    • Must have 1,000 hours of flight time in Rotorcraft, including at least 500 hours of pilot-in-command time in CH-47 aircraft.

    *U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

     

    Education and Experience

    • Technical bachelor’s degree and typically 9 or more years’ related work experience or a Master’s degree with typically 7 or more years’ or a PhD degree with typically 4 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.

     

    Conditions of Employment:
