    Flight Engineer 4

    (U.S. Citizenship Required*)

    Responsibilities

    • H-47 Flight Engineer Instructor.
    • Perform systems checks on the ground and in-flight for functional test flights and engineering tests.
    • Develop and maintain aircraft flight test procedures.
    • Evaluate payload and fuel requirements.
    • Instruct personnel in test functions and flight engineer crew duties.
    • Perform systems checks on the ground and in-flight for functional test flights and engineering tests.
    • Perform flight and ground instruction in test functions and flight engineer crew duties.
    • Develop and conduct familiarization, qualification, standardization, flight and ground instruction.
    • Perform mission-specific training for domestic and international aircrew.
    • Develop aircrew instruction philosophy, evaluation criteria and approach for standardizing training materials.
    • Establish qualifications, training standards, and validation plans.
    • Some (25%) travel required for aircraft delivery or to meet offsite program requirements. Domestic & international travel, including India and the UK.

    Qualifications

    • Required – Active Secret Clearance
    • Required – Military instructor certification, as applicable.
    • Must have 1,000 hours of flight time in Rotorcraft including at least 500 hours in the CH-47 series.
    • Requires FAA second class medical certificate.

    *U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

     

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree and typically 10 or more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 8 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

     

    Conditions of Employment:
