    Responsibilities

    The position provides an opportunity to support the development of cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation's fundamental defense services. Client employees work closely with esteemed clients to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions. The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams to ensure client technologies are functioning as efficiently as possible.     • Weld steel components together with brazing and a variety of arc and gas welding equipment to fabricate or repair products such as machine parts, and plant equipment
    • Perform related tasks such as thermal cutting and grinding
    • Repair broken or cracked parts, fills holes, and increases size of metal parts
    • Locate and repair cracks in products and equipment
    • Determine layouts and welds parts and assemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications.
    • Monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures

    Qualifications

    *US Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

     

    Education and Experience: Associate's degree or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

     

    Conditions of Employment:
