    We are currently searching for the right talent to fill this opportunity:


    Fabrication Specialist B

    (U.S. Citizenship Required*)

    Ladson, SC



    • Perform machine set-up and fabrication tasks.
    • Perform composite lay-up, fabrication and assembly tasks.
    • Assemble precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components.
    • Assemble, repair, modify, and install various power plants and drive trains.
    • Solder electronic and avionics products.
    • Assemble and install wire harnesses and avionics products.
    • Prepare test articles, fixtures and data collection devices to perform various tests.
    • Perform basic organic chemical conversion and paint preparation.
    • Apply routine organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance requirements.
    • Work on articles of limited complexity following established drawings and requirements.
    • Receive general supervision with basic instructions for routine work and detailed instructions for new lines of work or special assignments.
    • Perform routine or standardized work, choosing from a variety of well-established options.
    • Work is reviewed for soundness and overall adequacy and accuracy.


    • General competency in: contributing to team success, customer focus, decision making, initiating action, innovation, managing work, safety awareness, and work standards
    • Technical competency in: adhesive materials/processes, company knowledge, engineering drawings & specs, facilities manufacturing processes, general shop processes, general/precision test & measurement, manufacturing methods, materials & processing, numerical control programming, polymers & composite materials

    *U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

    Education and Experience

    • High school diploma or GED and typically 1 or more years’ related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
