    Stockroom Attendant

    (US Citizenship Required*)

    State College, PA

    Responsibilities

    • Perform physical or administrative tasks involved in distributing of materials, parts, supplies, and equipment to manufacturing
    • Perform project kitting according to detailed instructions
    • Package and prepare materials for delivery to the designated program & manufacturing locations
    • May prepare and maintain records of material shortages to manufacturing
    • Perform Cycle counts and inventory verification of parts based on information provided
    • Distribute received from stores to manufacturing areas
    • Lift heavy items and may operate a forklift
    • Communicate with coworkers and internal customers
    • Perform single or limited number of core tasks of a routine nature within team
    • Receive detailed instructions on assignments
    • Perform limited data entry

    Qualifications

    • Able to acquire job skills and learn company policies and procedures to complete routine tasks
    • Works on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment/decision-making
    • Able to read, and understand and follow department policies and procedures
    • Able to obtain necessary certifications as required by specific job requirements
    • Basic organizational skills
    • Good communications skills, both verbal and written
    • Good customer service skills
    • Basic team participation skills
    • Able to develop basic knowledge of the enterprise software tools as required by job
    • Receives detailed instructions on all work
    • Works under close supervision
    • Awareness of continuous improvement initiative

    *US Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

     

    Education and Experience:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent is required

     

    Conditions of Employment:
