    Responsibilities

    • Review work in progress, disputes and discrepancies.
    • Gather input and reconciles conflicting comments.
    • Write, edit, and proofread technical, proposal and promotional text and artwork.
    • Verify consistency and clarity of communication.
    • Define scope of project, negotiate agreement, and monitor status.
    • Develop concepts and proposals for new content management.
    • Negotiate approaches to content structure and design.
    • Determine content requirement for regulatory treatment, coordination or approval.
    • On-Call position

    Qualifications

    • Technical Communication skills, especially the creation of technical documentation in the aerospace, manufacturing, engineering, scientific, medical, pharmaceutical, software industry.
    • Proficient in MS Office and Adobe products: SharePoint, Word, Visio, RoboHelp, Dreamweaver, Acrobat Pro, etc.
    • Committed to protecting sensitive & proprietary information
    • Skills/experience with work instructions, and business processes & procedures
    • Knowledge and experience following editing & publication standards, and style guides

    *U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's and typically 6 or more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 4 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Degrees in Technical Communications, English, and/or Journalism
