    Responsibilities

    • Mission Systems Electrical Engineer
    • Work with customers to develop and document electronic & electrical system requirements for a variety of new capabilities for military aircraft and missile systems.
    • Analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications.
    • Test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
    • Monitor supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
    • Support fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.
    • Investigate emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.
    • Travel about 10% of the time

    Qualifications

    • Required – able to obtain clearance; active Secret clearance preferred.
    • Previous experience with one or more of the following avionics systems is preferred: Radar, Electronic Warfare (EW), Electro-Optic (EO) Sensors, Communication Navigation and Identification (CNI), Mission Processors, Recorders, Displays and Vehicle management Systems (VMS).
    • Experience working in a lab environment (e.g. HW/SW interfaces/integration, creating/conducting configuration testing, troubleshooting, proficiency using general lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, meters and analyzers) is highly desirable, but not required.

    *U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an ABET accredited course of study in engineering, mathematics, or physics is required.
    • 6 or more years of previous electronic system development or test experience is desired.
    • Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering is preferred.
