    Guidance Navigation & Control Engineer 4

     (U.S. Citizenship Required*)

    Responsibilities

    • Design, implement, and verify embedded flight electronics software algorithms, working under minimal direction.
    • Elicit and define the software requirements.
    • Design, implement, and integrate a solution to meet the requirements.
    • Plan and execute the validation of the requirements and verification of the solution. The solution design and implementation are developed using Model-Based Design languages (Simulink, embedded MATLAB, and Stateflow), from which C++ code will be generated.

    Qualifications

    • Required – intermediate skill in Simulink and version control
    • Experience/skill in embedded software development, requirements development, and FAA certification requirements
    • Multi-disciplinary

    *U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's and 9 or more years' experience, Master's with 7 or more years' experience or PhD with 4 or more years' experience.
    • Degree from ABET accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
