    Aircraft Mechanic - F-15E

    (Secret Clearance Required)

    Mountain Home AFB, ID



    This position is designated to support the F-15E Radar Modernization Program (RMP).


    • Assemble, disassemble, and/or modify systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
    • Oversee assembly, disassembly or overhaul.
    • Configure aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
    • Troubleshoot complex electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
    • Perform validation/verification testing of systems and components via functional operations checks.
    • Document procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results).
    • Inspect components and verify repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
    • Oversee training. Work under general direction.
    • May work at multiple modification sites (such as Idaho or North Carolina) to support customer needs.


    • Required – active Secret clearance. Candidates without clearance will not be considered.
    • Knowledge of, and skills in, the F-15E (or similar) Environmental Control Systems (ECS) a plus.
    • Possess skills specific to supporting electrical and/or environmental systems and subsystems within the F-15E aircraft.
    • Skills specific to wire routing, splicing, terminations.

    *U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

    Education and Experience

    • High school diploma or GED and typically 4 or more years’ related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
