    Advanced Material Handling Associate

     (US Citizenship Required*)

    Huntsville, AL



    • Perform specialized project tasks & assignments of a more complex nature
    • May act as a team lead for group activities, cross-functional or Supply Chain communication or customer inquiries
    • May handle and process classified material or oversee storage of Customer Property
    • May analyze and act on data related to production rates data, review stock records, and prepare purchase orders to determine stock status against production requirements


    • Basic understanding of configuration management tools as job requires
    • Computer skills to locate and manage all required data and may prepare metrics
    • Considerable knowledge of material planning, control and inventory methodology and applies it to a wide range of tasks
    • Considerable organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
    • Considerable communication skills, both verbal and written including presentation skills
    • Considerable customer service & collaboration skills
    • Considerable knowledge of enterprise software tools and associated data
    • Adaptable and flexible
    • Considerable ability to recognize and meet schedule priorities
    • Considerable knowledge of program close-out activities
    • Considerable knowledge of Government Customer Property Control
    • Able to track, expedite, and pick material shortages to the manufacturing floor
    • Able to complete work on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognize the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice
    • Able to perform job tasks without direct supervision
    • Able to readily handle unexpected demands and adapt to new situations
    • Work on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations
    • May provide direction to other employees with similar duties

    *US Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.


    Education and Experience:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 4 years of related experience.
