    Weights & Mass Property Engineer 3

     (U.S. Citizenship Required*)

    Oklahoma City, OK



    Join our team as a Mass Properties Engineer to generate aircraft weight and balance reports.


    • Develop complex weight, balance and mass properties data.
    • Determine approaches to developing data and analyze and compare results.
    • Define complex weight, balance and mass properties related design requirements.
    • Participate in developing customer specification commitments.
    • Provide complex vehicle or system configuration guidance.
    • Lead individual design team weight control efforts.
    • Estimate, calculate, measure, and verify mass, weight, stiffness and inertias of components, assemblies and completed vehicles or systems.
    • Develop and maintain weight, balance and mass properties accounting systems and generate weight and balance reports.
    • Create, develop, and implement new processes & tools to facilitate improved design and analysis capabilities.
    • Works under general direction.


    *U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree and typically 5 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3 or more years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification.
