    We are currently searching for the right talent to fill this opportunity:


    Structural & Payload Design Engineer 3

    (U.S. Citizenship Required*)

    Tukwila, WA



    • Develop, integrate, and document structural and interior payload system requirements to establish the system design.
    • Develop, maintain, and modify structural and interior payload system and component designs, using 3D Computer Aided Design tools and/or other design methods, to provide product definition to other engineering groups, production operations, suppliers and external customers throughout the product lifecycle.
    • Perform and integrate analytical & test results to validate and verify systems & components meet requirements and specifications.
    • Manage supplier development, test and production activities and coordinates with the supplier to optimize the design and achieve program goals.
    • Develop new design/analysis processes and tools to improve the effectiveness, quality and efficiency of the development effort.
    • Investigate emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs to meet projected requirements.
    • Work under minimal direction.
    • Occasional domestic travel, less than 10%


    • 3+ years' experience using NX, including demonstrated proficiency.
    • Experience helping programs through final design (e.g. ALO/BTP) release highly desired.
    • Position requires excellent communication skills.

    *U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree and typically 5+ years' experience in an engineering classification or a Master's degree with typically 3+ years' experience in an engineering classification or a PhD degree with experience in an engineering classification.
