    Structural Analysis Engineer 4

    (U.S. Citizenship Required*)

    Responsibilities

    • Execute structural modifications and upgrades for Bomber programs, Executive Transport Services & Support (ETS&S), and Airborne Surveillance Command and Control (ASC2).
    • Analyze static strength, damage tolerance and durability
    • Develop, integrate, and document structural requirements to establish the system design
    • Coordinate with other engineering groups to establish the product’s environment
    • Guide product design and verify structural integrity by using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance
    • Develop test plans and configurations, support text execution and analyze/report test results to verify systems & components to meet requirements & specifications
    • Define and document certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied
    • Support in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements
    • Support internal/external design reviews, technical interchange meetings (TIMs), preliminary/critical design reviews (PDR / CDR) with U.S. and Foreign Air Force Customers

    Qualifications

    • Experience performing the following types of analysis on airplanes: Fatigue Analysis, Damage Tolerance Analysis, Repairs Analysis
    • Experience using Durability and Damage Tolerance (D&DT) Tools
    • Experience with Fatigue or Fracture Mechanics

    *U.S. Citizenship is required by law, regulation, executive order, or government contract.

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's and 9+ years' experience, Master's with 7+ years' experience or PhD with 4+ years' experience.
    • Degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.
